30 June - Adrian Green, Director of Salisbury Museum: The Life and Times of General Pitt-Rivers, who, amongst other things, created The Larmer Tree Gardens as the first private garden for the use of the general public.
29 September - Gwen Yarker: The Slade painters in Dorset
The story of the painters who were associated with the Slade School of Fine Art, and emigrated to Dorset during the early years of the twentieth century, to paint the landscapes. They included Augustus John, William Orpen, Vanessa Bell and Roger Fry
